Encoder A200
The
Scazon Systems PCI Encoder Interface type A200 is designed
to allow easy interfacing of incremental encoders (rotary
or linear) to any PC- compatible computer or embedded
system with PCI bus expansion slots.
Each card has three 24- bit counters, taking the digital
(differential or TTL level) encoder output directly.
A touch probe input provides hardware latching of critical
measurement signals. Touch probe debounce period is programmable.
Scale or encoder marker pulses and encoder error signals
are also accommodated.
Interrupts are available for data ready or RTC. The card
occupies just one PCI slot.
