USB Encoder Interface
The Scazon
Systems USB Encoder Interface is designed to allow easy
interfacing of incremental encoders (rotary or linear) to any
computer or embedded system with a spare USB port.
Each
unit has three 24- bit counters, taking the digital
(differential or TTL level) encoder output directly.
A
touch probe input provides hardware latching of critical
measurement signals. Touch probe debounce period is
programmable.
Scale or encoder marker pulses and encoder
error signals are also accommodated.
Interrupts are
available for data ready or RTC.
